So the would-be apocalyptic extinction level event bringing an end to society as we know it called the Republican National Convention has come and gone and we're still alive. Yes, Donald Trump really is the Republican candidate for President and there were probably more police officers than delegates in the city, but we're still alive.

There were a few flare ups throughout RNC week, but nothing on the level that some had gone out of their way to predict. Downtown Cleveland became the focal point of the world for four days and the city seemed to hold its own. Tensions were elevated at times, but what could've been wasn't and that's an accomplishment in itself. There were also many moments of peace and togetherness on display as well.
An environment like that lends itself to so photo opportunities. Here are some of my favorite moments that I was able to capture throughout the days of the RNC.
